Beelzebub The King of Gluttony

Feels like this took forever once again (attention span is to short). Picture started off as a sketch and I pretty much went from there. I wanted to draw a demon character and I decided upon Beelzebub because he is one of my favorite demons in my story. For his design I saw a picture of what was depicted as Beelzebub which was an insect monster and decided to make him an insect themed demon.

He started as a fly demon to go along with the idea of Gluttony but I decide to mix up the insects, going with bee, praying mantis, mosquito, Japanese rhinoceros beetle. I gave him an extra set of arms cause insects normally have six limbs or legs. The claws coming out of the top of his head are meant to be horns shaped like claws.

In my story he is one of the first angels to fall from grace along with Lucifer and became a demon. After a serving a very long sentence in hell and he is now free to join society as long as he does not regress to his old gluttonous ways.
